About Me

Jocelyn Dugan, MBA
CTEC #A177502

Since graduating from UC Santa Cruz in 2001, I have been immersed in the wonderful world of small business.  As a sole-proprietor, I understand the specialized needs of small business owners and feel that my talents are best served helping small businesses thrive.  Whether you need bookkeeping services, have general accounting questions, or need your taxes done, I know that I can meet your needs and exceed expectations.  I have over a decade of accounting experience and have been running my business since 2009.

This year I plan on sitting for the first part of the SEE, the Enrolled Agent Special Enrollment Examination.  An Enrolled Agent (EA) is a federally licensed tax practitioner who has technical expertise in the field of taxation.  EA's are empowered by the US Department of the Treasury to represent taxpayers before the IRS for audits, collections, and appeals.

I am the mother of two amazing young children, and love to read, watch films, do yoga, hike, ski, and occasionally scuba dive.  I have a Bachelor’s degree in Film and Digital Media, and I hold a Master’s in Business Administration.

In 2009, my youngest child, Quinn, was born at home in the hands of extremely skilled and knowledgeable midwives, and now I serve as an officer on the Board of Directors for the  California Association of Midwives.  As Chief Financial Officer I am dedicated to preserving the fiscal integrity of our non-profit organization.
